Privacy
Updated October 2026. We collect only what we need, and we never sell or share it for advertising.
What we collect
- Your email, if you join our list to hear when we open, or ask for our letters.
- Your name, email and message, if you write to us.
- Your name, address, phone and order, when you buy. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- If you apply to The Circle, our partner program: your name, email, social handles, audience size and message. If you become a partner: your mailing address, phone, social handles, your signed agreement and the record of your signature (date, time, IP address and device information).
- Partner payouts and tax information (such as Form W-9 details and bank details) are collected and held by Stripe, not by us.
Partner links
If you arrive through a partner's link, the partner's code is kept in your browser for 30 days. It is added to any form you send us and to your order, so we can credit and pay that partner. Partners see only that an order was credited to them and its value, never your name, contact details or address.
How we use it
To fulfill and ship orders, to answer you, to run the partner program and to send our letters if you asked for them. Every letter carries a way to unsubscribe.
Who helps us
Stripe for payment and partner payouts, FedEx for delivery and Netlify, which hosts this site and receives its forms. Each receives only what it needs.
Your browser
Your bag and, if you came through a partner, their code are remembered in your own browser. We use no advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Order and partner records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually seven years. Messages and list sign-ups are kept until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not sell or share personal information as that law defines it. Write to us and we will act within 30 days.
Children
Our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and partners must be 18 or older.
