Questions
What is a peptide?
A short chain of amino acids. Skin and hair already use peptides as signals. Ours are chosen for how they help skin and hair look and feel.
Why copper?
GHK-Cu and AHK-Cu carry copper, which gives them their blue. It is why our copper serums catch a faint blue in the light. Copper peptides are chosen for the look of firmer, smoother skin and fuller-looking hair at the scalp.
In what order do I use them?
Serum, eye, neck, cream. Morning and night. The full sequence is on the Ritual page.
Can I use them with retinol, acids or vitamin C?
Yes. Apply peptides first, then the rest. Use vitamin C in the morning and copper serums at night, and keep acids and retinol off the nights you use the derma roller.
How do I use the derma roller?
On clean, dry skin or scalp. 0.25 mm needles: on the face two or three nights a week, on the scalp once a week. Light passes, never pressure. Clean it with alcohol before and after, never share it and replace it every three months, or sooner as the needles dull. Not for irritated or broken skin.
I have sensitive skin.
Patch test on the inner arm for 24 hours before first use. Stop if irritation appears.
Pregnant or nursing?
Ask your doctor before starting any new skin care.
Is it for men?
Skin and hair, women and men. The signals are the same.
When will I see a difference?
Skin renews slowly. Give any ritual eight weeks of steady use before you judge it.
